Love is one of those words that feels easier to recognize than to explain.

This book grew from that observation.

Rather than beginning with a definition, it begins with ordinary moments and asks what they have in common. My hope is not that you agree with every observation, but that you recognize something from your own life.

If these pages leave you thinking less about this book and more about the people you love, then they have done their work.
